The last 16 years have been focused on consulting from a Human Resources (HR) perspective. Working within the HR Business Partner model gave me the experience to become a consultant integrated with the day-to-day operations of the programs and HR. With my additional knowledge of Employee/Personnel Relations, including the medical realm (FMLA and ADA), Recruitment, Analytics, Data Management, and Training, including working with policies, MOUs, and unions, I bring a multifaceted perspective to consider as we work together to bring your organization and team to the next level.

With my experience in teaching and training with Human Resources, I have over 20 years of training and material preparation background to ensure a successful training experience.

If you are working through process development or organizational changes and require an in-depth assessment, in most situations, this begins with coordination of the leadership team and employees and starts with an assessment to begin strategizing the next steps. Integration and making connections within each new project is critical, which allows me to make the best recommendation to maximize results. After completing an assessment, we can begin working together on the specific issues. Tackling process improvement, organizational development, standard operating procedures, employee engagement, and employee retention are vital to making the most significant impact.

Communication is key! I like to ask questions and learn what the culture is like in your organization. As in most situations, an outside perspective brings fresh eyes and ears to any situation. We start with an assessment. Speaking with a variety of employees and leaders is where we find common themes to begin. This starts with a predesignated list of questions that allows for a consistent approach and develops themes we can identify and analyze the best approach to move forward.
Together, we will review a condensed report of the findings and agree on how to move forward that works the best for your organization. This may be through assisted team projects, specific training, and a dedicated review of ongoing process improvement. I will work with your team, whether internal leaders, trainers, or Human Resources, and create an approach that allows a smooth hand-off for ongoing growth in your organization, even when my work is done!
Depending on the need, there are options for onsite or video calls/meetings/training.
With any new implementation, document review and creation are essential steps. I will work with you to review or assist in creating documentation to help with process improvement or training needs. In addition, if you need assistance with documentation review/creation as a stand-alone request, I can also assist as a separate component.
